Direct bolt in chassis braces???

Post by livestrong14 »

Anybody know what kind of bracing bolts right onto our cars?

H-braces? Rear lower arm bar? Anything??

What did you buy them for? WRX? Impreza?

Thanks

I have a lower from H brace. It was for 93-01 Impreza. It bolted right up. I think it was from Meagan racing, the quality is quite good.

The CUSCO one is what I put on my BJ. It was meant for the same year Impreza models. Hand-carried it from Tokyo :)

GC fender braces bolt right on, as well. I got a set of billet braces that look like aluminum versions of the stock stamped sheetmetal pieces, but infinitely stiffer. Our cars really benefit from these, as the front end is a bit floppy versus the later Imprezas. A few companies make nice tubular steel versions, too.

Thanks for all the input guys! What did you notice after installing them? These, along with my fender braces, should make a pretty good difference!

I've got a line on an Euro H-brace for an Impreza. Will that fit my BC?

Looks like someone had a little too much fun with the TIG welder. I don't know if I believe that they are stiffer than the factory unit.

And no, those won't fit since they are for the GD platform.
