i have a td05h turbo from 99 wrx and uppipe connected (rusted) lol
first question will the up pipe fit the ej20g header on my legacy ?
i have picked up a downpipe with no cat cheap it goes 3" and then goes to 2.25" for some reason and jst at a weld is that going to be allright for performance or should i scrap it and start again?
im going to make a smooth adaptor for that part
also it doesnt have the sensor bung like the standard header after the cat can i jst drill a hole and weld the boss to the pipe in the same spot as the standard roughly ?

'99 WRXs should not have a 90* inlet 16G as they used under manifold inlets, '93-96 GC8s & GF8 STi's came with those.
I'm not sure if '99s even came with 16Gs at all as '97-'98 WRXs & STis came with VF22s or VF23s - & GF8s came with TD04's (250ps rated ?-BIG TD04).
The up-pipe should be the same if it is OEM Subaru.
The DP can be modded with the O2 bung (I did this to mine) & you could eliminate the 2.25" section & make it completely 3".
