Does anyone know the conversion from mpa to lbs. The boost gauge in the wrx set I installed reads in mpa and I was wondering how that compared to pounds.

Just for you to keep in your head:
1 kilopascal is about atmospheric pressure, or 14.5 psi. So half a megapascal is very roughly 7 psi.

umm... kilopascals and megapascals are the same? because thats what you just said.
1 kilo= 14.5psi
1/2 mega= ~7psi

I believe Vikash has his numbers off.
1 kPa = 0.145 psi
0.5 MPa = 72.5 psi

Sorry, I did have my numbers off. I haven't studied this stuff since 1997. Thanks for the corrections.
Josh's numbers are right.
100 kilopascals, or 0.1 megapascals, is about atmospheric pressure.
So 0.05 MPa is about 7 psi.

Ok, I really was confused. up untill now I hated the stock wrx boost gauge because I didn't know how to read it.

I checked my gauge and it has .05 and .1 marked on the face. It's good to know what I am seeing now. Thanks again.
