I'm starting a thread to see if anyone will be interested in me getting these made. We have 97-99 and 00-04 Legacy covered. Next is either 1st gen Legacy or gc8 Impreza, so it depends on the feedback here.
Here are a few quick pics of the black face, white numbers with white glow for the 00-04 Legacy.
These can be custom made to your liking. Certain designs or "material" like (simulated CF or metallic) cost extra.

$35 shipped for standard replacements. Anything special may be a $10 bump in price.

Are all the first gen gauge clusters the same set up? I know 2nd gen changed from 95-96 140 mph to 97-99 120 mph

Yes they are all the same. The only difference is between the AT's and MT's. The AT's have a gear position indicator on them.
Are they going to have the STi logo one them?

No, but if there's room and if you wanted to it can.

No they're not the same. There's some small differences between the 90-91's and the 92-94's, or possibly even the 90 & 91 MY's.
But either way they "should" be interchangable.

What are the differences? I can't think of anything different between my 91 and 93.

Looking at the gauge face you can fit the "STi' logo in the tach too. I just need to find a cheap cluster, or loose gauge faces.

Well I found a problem. I'm not sure what year this cluster runs but I don't think we can have faces made for it since just the speedo and tach is seperate from the bezel trim.

Hmmm. You can remove the speedo and tach from their mounting spots and get to the back of them.
What exactly is the problem with having separate units?

It's the temp and fuel gauges that are a problem. They need to be separate like the speedo and tach.

Because they are gauge face replacements. The other two gauges are part of the bezel trim.

Couldn't you find a way to modify the ones that are part of the bezel? On my 93 LS I was able to change the back lights to blue...
