What offset to run 235's??

Post by livestrong14 »

Hey guys,

Just wondering what offset wheels would be required to run 235 40 17's or even bigger tires on my car? Strut clearance shouldn't be an issue with coilovers.

Jamal?

Anybody?

Thanks!

Today I was thinking a 245/45-16 on a 16x8 would probably work with an absurd amount of fender rolling and somewhere in the +45 offset range.

A lot of rotas come in 17x8 +48. That's a good size.

My old car had 235/45/17 Proxes RA-1's on Rota Subzero's (17x7.5 ET48). I rolled the fenders, and they never really rubbed.
