So what did you do for Earth Day?

This is for non-Subaru related topics. Keep it realistic please.

So what did you do for Earth Day?

Post by Richard »

I was at the Pine Cone gas station that I like to stop at for gas and a big honkin chocolate eclair, right between Madison and Milwaukee in a little place called Johnson Creek.

I almost cried when I saw it there.

It had been a long time since I had seen such a thing.

So long that I had actually begun to believe it was extinct.

But I blinked, rubbed my eyes, looked again, and it was still there.

I picked it up and smelled it's sweet, sweet aroma.

It brought back memories of the good 'ol days.

Memories so distant, yet so, so vivid.

I let out a thunderous "HELL YEAH BABY, THAT'S MY SHIT RIGHT THERE. NOW COME TO PAPA YOU BAD MOTHER____ER. WOOOOHOOOO."

I filled my tank with non-ethanol premium. 100% gas baby!

Think of all the corn and farmland I saved!

What did you all do today?

I poured 3qt's of oil into a nearby creek, and left a trail of trash all the way to my car as i walked back.

I recieved a free text message from sprint reading, "What are you doing to Go Green..."

My reply was thus,
"I'm needlessly burning as much fuel as possible and setting forest fires while hunting bald eagles, kicking puppies and clubbing baby seals. Good day."

I spent 3 hours tracking and studying a population of spotted turtles in roslindale MA (part of boston). Then I spent a few hours hanging out at the zoo with my girlfriend (we both work there), met Jeff Corwin and watched my girlfriend except her award to go to Thailand to study hornbills.
