downpipe on

Got the Invidia divorced downpipe on the car just in time to take a trip down to Hallet for the 1st endurance race of the year. My mileage on the trip down was 3 mpg better than I have ever gotten out of the car. Lost about 20 lbs total and that is off the front of the car where it will do more good. I could have lost more, but I got the downpipe with a cat.

I just had a muffler shop hook the downpipe to the stock exhaust for now. I did run the car down to the shop with the open pipe and all I can say about it is it was LOUD and the car ran like crap when it was on boost. All I could think was the computer hadn't learned how to cope with the extra flow yet. I hope the car runs good when I get the rest of the exhaust done. What has other peoples experience been?

same, my car ran ok with an open down pipe and it was hella loud. when you get the rest of your exhaust on there you will notice the power difference.
