Repairing Curb Rash

I picked up some 16" tires today for really cheap, but they have a bunch of curb rash and I'm wondering if there is a good way to repair it. They are aluminum alloy and I'm planning on painting them a copper color (would look great with the winestone car) so I'm wondering if bondo would work? Any other suggestions?

My ghetto way was to dremel the entire thing down evenly then paint them
There are companies that specialize in fixing curb rash. How do they do it?

I've wondered the same thing. Could they weld a bead around it carefully and grind it back down after?
Bondo might work temporarily. If the environment didn't remove it, tire changing would.

"For repairing wheels, I used the toothpaste tube of Bondo and it worked great but I heard good things about Aluminox so I started using that. That stuff is strong!! Once it dries, you can sand, paint and even drill it! It's mostly used to repair holes boats so it's strong stuff. A little harder to work with than Bondo but it's good stuff.
