Does anybody know what is required to make the Nardi steering wheel horn work on a 91 Legacy?

BUMP.

None of the Nardi threads have any detailed instructions. I'm interested, too.

Ok....I figured out how to make the horn work.

You need to reuse the stock plastic connector on the steering column and cut the male plug from the stock steering wheel.

The green ground wires from the connector have to be spliced with the red Nardi wire and leave the black wire as is. tape off the cruise control wires on the plug...you won't need those.

On the Nardi wheel, you have to remove the metal plate that the red wire attaches to....it is connected with 3 screws on the rear of the steering wheel....this will allow the stock connector to fit through the hole.

Before you install the Nardi wheel, you need to pull off the stock connector off the steering column and bend away the (2) 3-piece metal contact pieces on the back of the connector. The reason for this is that the Nardi wheel does not firmly press against the plastic ring and the slop loses ground connection.

Let me know if this makes sense.

It'll make sense if I had all the parts in front of me. Unfortunately, I don't have the stock steering wheel and harness... so I'll have to start looking for them.

You can always get the connectors form the junk yard if you can't find them...
