Does anyone do those flywheele re-surfacing when change the new Cluch
system???
I have replace my cluch on 110,000km, and now my car going 200,000km
and think its time to do another replacement, but I remember I
haven't do the flywheele re-surface at the last cluch replacement,
should I do it this time? Where could I take my flywheele to re-
surfacing or replace a light-weight.

Flywheele re-surfacing???
To some extent it depends on how you drive, and mainly whether you change
the clutch before metal to metal contact occurs through the friction disk
wearing too far. If the flywheel surface is still smooth, no need to
bother... unless you want to lighten it, but lightening the flywheel is one
of the lower priority steps in the quest for more power and only allows the
engine to rev a little more freely.

Flywheele re-surfacing???
you can order a lightweight flywheel from Primitive Racing
(http://www.get-primitive.com). The flywheel they sell is almost identical
with the one they use for racing.
Tell him Wolfboy sent you.

Flywheele re-surfacing???
When I had to replace the clutch I knew this was going to cost a bit
just in labor so I replaced the flywheel. I Installed a light weight
chrom-moly flywheel 12 lbs from JC Sports and this has worked
fantastic.the engine revs quicker and has more pep but I don't have
any performance figures as we are shut down for the winter at the
strip. I also was a little worried about driveability but with about
2-3k miles everything is great. I don't think that there is a lot of
price difference between the new stock flywheel and the lightweight.

Flywheele re-surfacing???
Ben-
for a daily driver, the Primitive clutch isn't the best. It's better suited for racing.
The flywheel is good though, i know a couple people that have them installed and are quite pleased.
anyway, back to pullin the engine.
