a/c fan question

has anybody hooked up a swith to the sub fan so they could turn it on when ever to cool the engine.
dont think it is neccessary but would be cool

Well you could run a switch to the VSS1 then technically it will give a code for VSS then it would keep the fans on all the time or just forget about it and rely on the VSS and ECU temp sensor like you should

i took my a/c out so the a/c fan want come on because their is no a/c so i was going to hook it up to switch and make use of it

I'm running a 2005 STI engine off of a 1993 EJ18 FWD Impreza radiator with a single fan and t doesn't overheat even in traffic.

If you really want it why not wire it up to run with the other fan?
