changes after downpipe install

Post by jefferson »

I recently did a downpipe and exhaust and love the way the car runs and sounds. There were some changes that don't make sense to me.
My car idles much better, the herky jerky throttle is almost eliminated, and I lost boost. I really like the changes as they are for the good, but I would like my boost back. I went from running 10 to 7 lbs. The car runs so much better with the downpipe and exhaust, but I would really like to see how it would run with the original boost. Both the cats appeared to be clear so I really have no idea what happened. Any ideas?

How were you running 10 psi without a boost controller?
Add an IC and MBC. You can get a Eaton MBC off eBay for about $10 shipped.

That is just what the car ran until I put the downpipe on. Then it dropped to 7 and I don't know why.
