Tranny compatibility

Post by waldo320 »

Hey all I have a 96l wagon a daily beater and tranny is pretty bad it is a 4.11 4eat with the code of tz102zabba. Can I put any 4.11 tranny in the car and the axels will match up? Also would I have to cange the tcu?
Thanks

As long as you get the same "phase" tranny ie phase 1, 2, etc. The two trans connector plug is what you want to make sure you match.
