Air suspension

Post by orunlys »

Anyone how know the price of new original air suspension dampers to legacy 2.5 98 mod, In Norway they cost about 1500$ for one damper, 6000$ for all 4,exstremly expensive, maybe they are cheaper in the US, maybe i can import it private and save money. thanks if somebody can help me whit the price. We can still get air suspension on Legacy in Norway. it,s the same as in the outback 95-98 bg i,m not shure if earlier models have the same system, but i think so..

Do you know if they are the same setup as the first gen legacy? The 90-94 legacies were the only ones in the US to get the air suspension, and to be honest, I'm not sure you can even buy the air struts any more.

You may be able to find used ones.

Are there anyone how knows about the air suspension on Subaru Legacy 95-98mod is t the same as in the 90-94 mod,, have got the oem parts number for my 98 mod 2.5 GX
front
RF 20600AC100
LF 20600AC110,,, think the front suspension is the same on 90-98 mod
Back
RB 20650AC100
LB 20650AC110 got no parts lookup for these numbers

The part nr for 90-94 mod is RB. 20650AA101 and LB. 20650AA111. Not a big difference in the part number , but maybe a change on the suspension, parts link
find these on http://www.parts.com
tanks if some experts know something about this and notify me.

I plugged in your part #'s for your 98, and they come up as the 90-94 air suspension.

You can use this to search
https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/oe_parts_cat.html

I'd recommend that dealer, as they probably have the best prices I've run across. You may be able to even get them to ship internationally. If you're interested in that, shoot Jamie an email and ask her if those parts are still available and if they ship internationally

Did you plug in the number for the Rear air suspension 1998 mod??

RR 20650AC100
LR 20650AC110

I got no parts lookup for these numbers anywhere, seems for me like the front air sus is the same from 90-98 and the rear air sus has changed, maybe only the topphats , Is the rear topphats on 90-94 the same as on the 1995 to 98 mod

I thought I did...but apparently I didn't.

The tophat design should be the same. The difference in part #, may indicate a small change or different valving, etc. Chances are good that you could get the rear air suspension for the 90-94 legacy and it would work in your 98.
