my question is on clutches and gearboxes

i have a 5spd from a turbo wagon ej20 it has a cable clutch and the clutch is slipping from the power

i picked up a deal on an hks twin plate clutch etc
can you convert the cable to hydraulic im not to sure on the specifics but the gearbox has a ball on it that the clutch lever attaches to and when the pedal is pushed to floor the pulls the cable and pushed the lever into the fingers

i need to convert to hyrdaulic is it best to keep with the bc5 pedal master and slave cylinders and mounts etc or get something from a wrx ?

The clutch lever arm is different, and you have to swap out the pedal assembly. It can be done....I wouldn't say it's a tough job, but it's certainly not easy and quick.

In addition, the pivot ball location changes with the different lever arm. You will need to tap the other boss in the transmission.
