I'd probably snag this if I hadn't just picked up a ported/polished tdo4. It'd still be worth buying, but I'm kind of against the smashing of firewall/cutting of tb. Good luck with sale. nice to see a whole kit for someone!

Thanks for reminding me Dusty B! I have modified this TMIC so there is no cutting of the throttle body necessary!

man i wish i had some extra cash for this set up.

would there need to be changes made to the fuel system if the FCD was used and the boost cranked up the optimal setting for the tdo4?

OT, would you drive up to fargo for a rallycross in mid oct if it fit your schedule?

I ran 16-18 psi with this setup on my SS, which I'd say is on the "high" side of optimal :-D with the only "fuel system mod" being a Walbro. This setup is currently on my wagon running ~12 psi on N/A ECU, turbo injectors, and the Walbro.

As a spectator, hell yeah! As a competitor, I have nothing to drive like that. My wagon is undergoing an "offroad" transformation!

More or less. Tubular sub-structures.......

And it's not for the looks, purely functional.

I could probably make up some more of the custom piping........

If you could make another 90 degree bend from the turbo and then that pipe that goes from that to the air box, I would be interested.

Thanks
Ben

The 90 degree piece is a rubber hose, but the "intake" pipe I could duplicate. You'd need to tell me what size nipples, how many, and where to put them. It's been a long time since I've seen a stock setup, and I know I deleted some of those hoses on mine. I could go so far as to get the rubber 90 for you if you chose. Let me know what you need and I could shoot you a price based on that. :D

Would anyone else be interested?

+1 for the custom steel turbo, I/C and block-off piping. And, if you're buying 90* elbows, i'd be in for that too.

Yeah, I'll be doing some work on my car tonight (just shit coolant all over my driveway, I hope its just a hose gone bad :?), so ill let you know the nipple sizes/how many. But you should possibly start a separate thread, I would think there would be a big demand if you want to make a bunch.

So does the firewall need 'massaged'? Or does the modded TMIC take care of that too?

What's the good/bad of blocking off the PCV? Will it throw a CEL?

Thanks
