Serious coolant leak

So, I arrive home last night, throw my car in park. I notice it was smoking a bit from the engine bay (It does have a small oil leak, at least I assume, that spits a bit of oil onto the exhaust or something and smokes), I assumed it was normal.
I noticed it was a bit more smoke than normal, pop the hood, seems smokey. Hmmm...then I look on the ground...liquid...uhoh....Look under the car, to see coolant coming all around the back of the engine...s**t.
So, my dad jacked it up while I was at work today, he said he couldn't see where it was coming from, somewhere nearer the back on the turbo side. He said the up-pipe was in the way of seeing exactly where it was from. He said he topped it up with some water, and ran it up to temperature, the leaking seemed to stop.
At first, my immediate thought was HG blow (assumed the worst). But I have noticed no difference in the engine power/how it runs. It also seemed like a lot of coolant for it to be a head gasket. The oil also seemed to be coolant free.
So now I'm thinking back to the bit of smoke that would appear in that area previously, and I'm thinking it may have been coolant causing that -> indicating a small leak -> meaning it could have just turned into a big leak.
Basically, anyone have any idea what it might be. Apart from a HG being the worst case scenario, I was possibly thinking coolant line for the turbo (hopefully). Anything else that it could possibly be?
Thanks
Ben
