Struts/Springs/Coilovers

Post by metalhead77 »

Anyone know of a company that does struts, springs, or full on coilovers for a 94 LS?

you should check out the stickies and browse through a few threads, and then come up with some more specific questions.

A lot of the information you're looking for is pretty readily available.

Okay. I looked through a few posts that I believe apply to my initial question. What I got from them is that alot of (not all) aftermarket pieces that fit 93-01 Impreza's can fit Legacy's with little or no modification. Is this true? I tried to get an answer on another thread, but no one responded. I think the main problem with fitment for me, but I don't know if it will be a problem, is that my Legacy is FWD, not AWD. How much does this change, if anything, in fitment?

That really narrows things down because you have to use rear parts that are fwd specific. So KYB GR2 struts are about your only option. I'm not sure if awd springs are different.

FWIW, I used whiteline springs with FWD rear struts and they were alright. So you may be able to get by with using impreza springs.....assuming you don't have the tapered rear springs, which I don't believe you do.
