Did you get Wiseco to make custom pistons for you? I'm curious about the 8.5 comp.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I'm curious too. The drop in Wiseco's are 8.5:1 on 22T heads. Definitely not on any of the dual cam variants.

Maybe the 8.5:1 comp pistons for the 22T heads, and just using different heads. Compression FTW.
What are you going to do for a transmission? I know for a FACT that a 50Trim will blow up a stock trans like it was made of toothpicks.

I did enjoy the 8.5:1 on my 22T longblock and Delta cams. The motor was nice and snappy off-boost, and the torque at 4500 was fun. But alas, a 55cfm increase with 25D heads is hard to pass on.

for the tranny question, yes im running a stock n/a 5sp. i dont really care right now about blowing up the tranny because there easy to remove/ install and fairly cheap.
i already have an extra thats been rebuilt if this one gos early.
car should be able to drive to a paint shop some time this Sunday.
we got it to run tonight
