EDIT: Purchased one from subieal, thanks!

Because I may very well be an idiot, I think I've fried the circuit for my canister purge solenoid (link) resulting in a permanent check engine light, poor idle, and poor economy. One little transistor, and the show's over.

I need an ECU (ECM, PCM, what ever else you may call the engine computer) for my 1992 Legacy L Sedan AWD N/A 5MT, if any more information is needed let me know.

Thanks.

could it possibly be your O2 sensor? because when my o2 wasn't getting enough flow and alot of back up from the cat that i was infront of it threw the o2, and the purge solenoid code.

After tripping the Coolant Temperature Sensor to test my Main Fan Relay I had four DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).

13 Cam Angle Sensor
21 Coolant Temperature Sensor
32 Oxygen (O2) Sensor
35 Canister Purge Solenoid

I cleared the codes, and only code 35 for the solenoid remained. I've thrown the Cam and O2 codes before with no apparent cause, so I don't think they meant anything here either (they're gone now anyway).

* * * * *

I just double checked the codes, since I've driven it a couple times since I last checked it. Just code 35.
