i noticed this the other day up above the ex manifold in the picture

i was running wastegate boost on my td05h 16g 6psi at manifold with fmic engine doesnt seem to get hot but engine bay seems pretty warm im guessing that is bcos of my lack of heat sheilds and turbo chim

could be a number of things, clogged catalytic converter, cooling system problem, etc....

the last time i had the 02 sensor and dump pipe off it appeared to be all sutty

that's normal with these cars. They always had cooling problems, unless you got an aluminum radiator and updated the coolant tank.

Now go get a coolant funnel, with the little stopper, and fill your car with coolant while its cold. Then turn the car on and put all of the electrical loads on and wait for the fans to kick on. That means the t-stat has come on. Presto chango! Your cooling system has been bled and everything works fine.

Also, put them heatsheilds back on.

oh ok yea sweet az so that white leaking from the gasket isnt such a big deal?
I have had the engine in and out a few times just needs a new overflow tank and shud be allgud
will get the sheilds on again
