Post pictures of your modelling skillz!

I'm working on the WRC lineage of Subaru;

Forgive the dust, I don't clean them often as the details tend to snap off...

I took this model;

...and made this, using an Impreza rally car kit. The rally versions of the Legacy exist, but they are going for more than $60 and climbing. Built this one for about $28. Not particularly accurate, but I can live with that.

And yet to be built;

A few VWs as well

Haha, no... but I did just buy a Legacy TW and the Hipposleek 2nd gen Leg wagon. Keeping the Imprezas strictly rally cars.

Nice models. I'm jealous, I looked for a BC model in Japan but none of the hobby stores had one.

BC/BF/BJ are all discontinued for many years now, I get mine on Ebay... they pop up pretty regularly, but you'll pay a major premium for the rally versions, especially since McRae passed away.

Really cool and a nice job. I had no idea these models existed. I used to be HUGE into kit modeling when I was younger.

ive got:
the black 91 sedan
the red 92 wagon
and the rally new zealand McRae legacy

all still in there boxes
its been 10 years or more since ive made a model

Tell me about the white record setting Legacy in the background. Is that a poster or blown up photo. I really like that.

That's a photo I pulled off the web somewhere... it's got the stats of the record printed underneath.

Yeah, it was quite a few years since I had built anything, I mostly work on them in the winter.

Take some shots of the boxes, especially the McRae car, the guys'll want to see that one! Like I said, those are going for $60-70 and more. It's the same model as the black RS, but with an extra tree full of rally car parts and different decal sheets.
The SAME rally car parts tree is in the later GC Impreza kits.

I've owned the USDM version of every one (body style, some not exact year)

I'll even list them in order of ownership!

And just for bragging rights.

Just noticed in this last pic there are at least two trees that are rally specific.
