Hello,
I have a problem with my ABS-system. After a short distance drive the
ABS warning-light comes on. When I check the ABS error code (under
passenger seat) I can see 7 flashes.
Does any of you know if it's front or rear (left or right) and what
could be a probable cause. I only have the Haynes manual and it
doesn't cover the ABS-system.
Thanks in advance
Jesper

I believe thats the rear right speed sensor code (code 7). It could be that the sensor is loose or
has failed. You'd have to take a look at it a see if it appears okay. I've never had to actually replace
one of the sensors, so I'm not sure of the exact procedure. (That, and I've never been able to get
the car in diag mode :p)

ABS problem
Hi
If memory serves me right code 7 is the front right ABS sensor.
i had to replace mine 4 or 5 months back.
My ABS would activate when the car was not moving and my foot was on the brake. (much clicking, clunking, whirring, and pushing back on the pedal). my ABS light would come on and stay on
new sensor $300 cdn off to the races again.
hope that helps
let me know if there is anything else
