Pictures of my car uploaded

Post by Miki »

Hi folks!

uploaded 5 pics of my yellow (VW Brilliant Gelb) Legacy to
the "files" section. I apologize for the bad quality of the pics, but
as said before, it was a very grey day and the car was quite dirty...
In the pics the yellow colour looks quite "pale" (couldn't find any
other word to describe it), when it actually is a very bright colour.
It really looks different when the car is clean.
Anyway, I'll post some better pics (I hope) within a couple of weeks,
at least you can see that my car really is yellow, or as we say here
in Finland, "a yellow devil"... ;D

cheers,

Miki

Very nice Miki. One question though, have you ever thought about
getting the front, side, and rear bottom moldings painted to match
the car? I know from seeing the Imprezas with it done, it truely
looks fantastic IMHO. Just curious.

I thought about it, but the guy who did the job, and myself also for
that matter, came to the conclusion that it maybe would be "a bit too
much yellow" that way... but perhaps we were wrong...

cheers,

Miki

Hey Miki, nice car! I'll second what matt said, I saw an accord that had the bottom black trim painted...it looked really clean, I think all he did was take the pieces off..sand them a little and had the paint shop paint them to match.

Also the lights in the grill look really good...did you cut out that part of the grill?

Josh
