Guys,

First I would just like to thank everyone for taking part in this
group. Looking back on some of the past messages, there is alot of
fantastic knowledge from alot of the members here and it's become one
of the best places on the net( In my opinion anyway) to get info on
the first generation Legacys, all thanks to you guys. Although the
cars themselves are getting up there in age, by no means are they
outdated so I'm glad to see so many still very interested in them.

Secondly, please let me know any suggestions, comments, or whatever
you might have, preferably off-list( no need for someone searching
for Legacy info to have to sift through posts of non-Legacy
stuff...like this one ;)). I'm just a first gen Legacy enthusiast who
wanted something like what we currently have today, a place to go and
discuss these cars, so when it comes to the FAQ and such, there could
be some bad/wrong info or whatever that I would hope would be brought
to attention so the correct info could be put up. I've gotten a few
suggestions/comments recently and made a few changes for the better,
I think. Keep them coming( again, preferably off-list).

As far as posting goes, things have been going very well. I think all
of us here are fans of the later Legacys as well, so I don't mind the
"occasional" post pertaining to them, but please keep it to a
minimum. I am a big fan of the later Legacys, but this list is for
the BC-BF types. Any posts that have nothing to do with Legacys at all
(which thankfully there has been very very little of), will most
likely be deleted. And if you have a post or reply that is strictly
pertaining to another person and could not benefit the rest of the
group, please do it off list(again, which there has been very little
of). You can also search all of the messages for something you are
looking for by using the "search" feature. I'm not saying not to ask
any questions, but there is a chance it may have already been
answered previously. And for any of the new guys, nothing personal,
but please keep your Legacy Works e-groups name and actual name and
not a phrase of some sorts. It looks alot cleaner for one, and it's
alot easier for others to associate the writer with the post.

Putting pictures of your cars on file. I have no problem with people
uploading pictures of their car, hell, I'd like to see more owners'
first-gen Legacys, especially the modded ones, but try to pick the
best one or two pics to upload and keep it at that.

And lastly, I was curious if there would be any intrest in a "Legacy
Works" decal or T-shirt or something along those lines. Nothing
serious really, but the idea came to mind a few times. Let me know
what you think.

Again, I thank all of you guys for participating in this group over
the last couple months and I welcome and encourage any new guys we
pick up along the way to become active as well. Compared to some
other message boards, the maturity level is quite high here and I'm
very pleased to see everyone respecting everyone else's comments,
questions, or whatever.

Sorry for the length of the post. I just thought it would be good to
have a frienly reminder for the "veterans" as well as to let the
newer members know the basics of the site. Thanks again.

Regards,
Matt

Matt-I, for one, would be interested in a special t-shirt. If there are any
artists out there with any ideas, please post them & give us some clues as
to what we might like-ROD (somewhere in No. Az.)
