Need 4 winter tires, gonna put those on wrx wheels, 205/60-16 has better/cheaper options, but not sure it fits and does not rub on suspension?
Remember some relevant thread but could not find it for some reason.

That may be a little too tall. The stock WRX tires 205/55 r16 only have about 1/8" clearance on the rear struts.

Well, on mine stock WRXs and remaining 3 RSIs clearance is about 1/4" but I guess that would heavily depend on the tire and luck.

Found this though, which is 215/60-16 and is a hair off rubbing (and probably does under cornering). So I'm probably not going to risk it.

A 60 sidewall is like an Outback tire. Those are pretty dang tall. I'd say no dice.

I am currently running 205/60 r16 hankook w409 studded and they fit on my 94 tw with ground controls(so a little different) and on my 95 impreza coupe with wrx wagon take offs both with no rubbing.

I am running these as well, and I'm going to downsize to a 205/50/16, because at some points the tires slightly touch the spring seat on the strut.
