Stock Flywheel Help!

Post by screemingbark »

Does anyone know where to buy a stock flywheel anywhere? Every single place that I call has a flywheel, but nobody has a TURBO flywheel. Advanced Auto said they had the right one, but they didn't. I've called Napa, Pepboys, Autozone, and looked online everywhere. The only Flywheels that I can find are light weight ones, which cost 200-500 dollars. I haven't found any auto parts stores that know that the N/A and Turbo flywheels are different. Also does anyone know if there is any other Subaru cars that share the same flywheel? Possibly a newer WRX? Any help would be appreciated.

Ask for a '02-'05 WRX Flywheel. Common and 100% interchangeable. I would also start using WRX clutches too, but EJ22T ones will work with the WRX flywheel.
'93 Winestone SS Auto, '91 Pearl White SS.
'93 Pure White SS EJ20G slanty intercooled, SIDESWIPED! In stasis.
'94 FWD and '95 AWD Laguna Blue SVXs.
2017 Pure Red BRZ Limited w/Performance pack

I have a clutch from competition clutch, it's a stage 2 kit. They didn't have a pressure plate for a 91' legacy turbo, so they gave me a WRX pressure plate and upgraded to a Stage 2 for free. (I wanted stage 1 kit at first. FREE upgrade!!)

So a WRX 02' Flywheel will work 100%?

Thanks!
