aftermarket radio problem...HELP....

So my 93 legacy l has an aftermarket stereo in it when i got the car it worked great. well soon after there would be no noise at all through the speakers which are aftermarket cheapies when you would hit a bump the music would come on then when you hit another bump there would be dead silence. so i took the stereo out and found the speaker wire connector was kinda messed up when you wiggled the connector the music would start to play then stop instantly so i cut the connector out and soldered the wires together. still no music at all and yes all the wires are going to there correct coresponding wires and suggestions
