Is posible convert a AWD wrx transmission to FWD only?

I have a 1992 Legacy N/A FWD was 4AT but I make it 5MT, I want the wrx EJ20 swap but I don't know is my tanny can handle the power (7K-TM752RY4AA, i don't know where my tranny guy get this tranny because I can't find this code in subaru tranny chart),

my optios are.

a) kept my tranny and see if can handle the ej20 turbo power
b) see if I can convert the wrx AWD tranny to FWD.
c) convert my car to AWD, this is a lot of $$$ and time involve on that.


NOTE: I and in Dominican Republic, most the parts her are imported from Japan.

I'd keep your FWD transmission. It should be ok.
