Fuel pump GT-Turbo ?

Post by SubOnno »

Hi guys,

I want to fit a GTT Fuel pump in my Legacy 2.0 GL

Does anyone know why the GTT pump has a blue and red wire (+) and the Legacy GL pump only a blue wire (+) ?

Do i have to connect the blue to the red wire ?
The plug is the same .....

I did not cut the blue wire in the picture? The previous owner did,

Something's not right, or you're trying to use a pump that won't work with your Legacy.

It looks like the previous owner cut a wire he shouldn't have, and then tried to make it work. You should have a power and ground going to the pump....that's it.

Also, forgive my ignorance, but what is a GTT?

GTT is the GC8 WRX in the Netherlands

The pump is compatible, but one off the wires will not be used ;)

Thanks SP!

Pump works, I sealed the blue wire connected the plug and it works on a non-turbo. This pump has about 65.000 miles less, and is 5 years younger than my old pump.

I had to cut a new rubber protector that goes underneath the pump to hold it in place on the fuel pump holder bar thingy!
It's nice in place and solid,

Feels good! :-D
