Car vibrates under braking HELP
I have a1991 Subaru Legacy Sedan and am looking to find a cure for the vibrations I am having under braking I have had 4 sets of tire for the car in two years trying to fix it with no luck. Also just replaced the brakes all around. Also put new front cv's as well. Thanks Marco

Like Saskatoon, warped front rotors may probably be the culprit of the vibrations if you're feeling the vibrations upon braking. Did you do the brake job yourself or did you take it to a shop? Were the rotors "turned' or "cut"? If the rotors are not out-of-spec, take them to an auto parts store and they can usually do them for about $6 each rotor.
Also, when you install the new brake pads, you'll need to break them in properly. Take the car up to highway speeds, about 65 mph, and brake hard down to about 20 mph, (make sure there's no traffic behind you!), then back up to highway speeds are repeat three times total. This procedure is done to transfer some of the brake pads' composition to the rotors. If break-in is not done properly, that can also be a cause of vibration or what seems to be warped rotors.
