Turbo engine for $200?
At my local salvage yard there is a turbo motor out of a 92 or 93 legacy sedan. It has been sitting outside their door after being pulled out of the shell. He wants 200 for it. Turbo is still on it will need to be rebuilt if I would even use it. Worth it if its been sitting outside. I will be rebuilding it for my rally car but is the block even worth it

Buy that motor. If you strip it to just the shortblock you can easily sell that for $400-500.

I'd buy it. I found a turbo EJ22T supposedly running on craigslist but the guy wanted $400 for it. With 220K miles. Which isn't a bad deal but I'm broke.

As long as this is a sealed long block you'll be fine. If it's a short block sitting outside, then you should have the cylinders bored .005 over for clean cylinder walls again.
