well i got a used rack from a member on here and finally decided to clean it up. took off the boots and outer tie rods. took all the lines off so when i get my Whiteline bushings it will be super easy to install
Rack
some kind of srcrew that if tightened to much will not let the rack move. dont know if this is used to control how fast or slow it turns.
inner tie rod ball and socket. wondering if there is a better way of greasing this. i used valvoline chasis and cv joint grease.
teeth
this side doesnt have teeth
i guess this is where Subaru gets there racks from KOYO
where it hooks up to the column

Since you've got it all apart right now, replacing the inner tie rods wouldn't be a bad idea. You don't have to, but it's a preventative maintenance/convenience thing...
