We have a 91' Turbo Legy sedan that we are trying to convert into a rallyX monster. I have a set of 205-55-16 Maxsport Gravel Tyres mounted on 2005 WRX rims. I tried to mount them only to find out that they do not clear the struts. I need a strut that is atleast a half of a inch taller (lower spring perch that is) then stock. I would not mind a little bit of a lift on the car but nothing to crazy. Maybe a inch higher would be perfect?? Now, since I ran this setup on my 05' WRX wagon, I know they will clear the WRX wagon struts. I am just unsure on what WRX wagon struts/springs do for a lift/drop on these things. I would assume that WRX wagon springs/struts would raise the car slightly?? I know Forester springs/struts and OBS springs/struts would raise it up and give me the clearance, but I am not sure I want it that high.....
Any advise would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Ryan
Best RallyX setup for 91' Turbo Sedan??

If you have the struts and want you use them, you could always 'clearence' the spring perch.
I was running '05 WRX wagon springs on KYB AGXs for rallyx and was satisfied w/ it.
I would imagine the WRX stuff would work well as the shocks are probably a bit stiffer and the spring rates higher. Plus its free if you already have it.
You'll definately want more swaybar in the rear, though.

93 legacy wagon L, 22T swapped (TW imitator) now with five forward speeds. (Gone, but never forgotten)

The swaybar will come in the future, first we need to address the blown stock struts. I do not have my stock WRX struts anymore, but I do have my WRX springs. Just wondering what would be our best bet for struts, WRX, OBS, or Forester? I would be completely fine with WRX Wagon struts if it does not drop the car at all. A slight lift would be nice though!
