Picked up this nice example on Saturday:

New timing belt, water pump, wires, plugs, fuel filter, Motorvac and MAF.

It reportedly has an occasional miss and CEL. Cruise, center HVAC and pass. front door switch don't work. Front washer motor is burnt out, driver seat belt is fraying. Dents, dings and normal stuff for an 11-year-old car.

Got it for a steal.

Sweet! What are you planning on doing with it? Just a DD or is this going to be a project car?

More of a DD than a project. I'll do some small things, but I don't know how far it'll go.

Is that the same EJ22e thats in BF/BC cars?
I have that same cargo mat in my wagon. Wasn't sure what it came out of originally, but it fits pretty well.

They kept using the same "Phase I" EJ22E untill 98, and introduced the "Phase II" EJ22 in 99, with 142BHP. I do believe it went interference, however, which means they messed around with the design.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rear wagon cargo area in the BF/BJ and BG/BK were very similar, so they kept making the same part throughout the years.

Nice! Any suspension ,wheels, jdm parts coming soon?

I do need summer tires, so a set of 16", or maybe 17" take-offs would be nice (and cheap). I plan on replacing the struts, as I don't know if they're original, and maybe get some good springs.

I'd like to get a few small things, like JDM tails and a grille, perhaps a wheel, but keep it subtle.
