has any one tried putting impreza control arms on a legacy?

They're essentually the same, at least up to the 2001 MY.

Aren't the front pivot bushings different in size, or something like that?
93 legacy wagon L, 22T swapped (TW imitator) now with five forward speeds. (Gone, but never forgotten)

2nd gen imprezas have a thicker front bushing. You can swap the bushings out or shave them down.

WRX sedan control arms are wider, so to use them you would need wrx axles, among other things. Some are aluminum, and some add more caster than others.

Jamal, I assume that STI control arms would be the same fitment as the WRX control arms. Would it be just as easy as axles, swaybar endlinks, and tie-rod ends? Or would you need to sway like the whole steering rack? Would the ball joints work or would you have to switch hubs too?
