stuck them in the oven @ 170 for about 10 min., pulled them apart. then dismounted the housing from the lens, painted and reassembled. went back in the oven for a short bit to try to flow the glue a little for a good seal.kimokalihi wrote:Were those inserts or something? How did you do that? How is the light output after doing that?
shtbxr22 wrote:oh yeah, light output is still the same I think. the low beam is a projector, so it doesn't rely on the housing for output, and the high beam has its own reflecting "bowl" that it sits in.
I don't know. I was unsure of what to say for that. Maybe I should have said.......so I put black contacts in today.Skruyd wrote:Wouldn't that be eye shadow and not eye liner?? Any who, it looks great. Good job.
Hmm, should we start a thread that compares car parts to human parts? Any who, eye liner would be like angel eyes but with paint, eye shadow is what you did, and contacts is if you buy that tinted plastic crap that you put over the lights.........Hmmmm To tell you the truth I think you performed LASIK on the light assemble and changed the cornea color? Sorry, I'm rambling...... The lights look freaking awsome XDshtbxr22 wrote:I don't know. I was unsure of what to say for that.
