How should I remove my Sparco shifter knob?

It's pretty stuck on there. I've tried using jar openers, belts (for pants), and strong friends. And none of them have helped to get it off.

You can see it in this photo:

I'm out of ideas apart from just straight up cutting it off or something... but I'm not sure I want a new one yet. Just want to get it off to put a new shifter boot on there. Can't find any grub screws or anything. Just doesn't want to budge.

It's hard to tell from that pic (nice clean interior btw :-)), but that knob looks a lot like an old Momo knob I have here. The collar on the bottom of the knob unscrews to reveal three set screws. Maybe?

I'll give it a look... and take a better photo.

You, sir, have some great eyes. I can't believe I didn't notice the bottom section had a different finish. Took a couple tries to get the bottom to turn, but now the knob is off, and I'm happy!

Thanks!

I think the real question is what's wrong with your interior? That's what all Subaru interiors should look like.
