Hey guys

Post by vrg3 »

Hello, again, everyone... I'm back, for a while at least. I missed the BBS so I figured I'd try to make some time for it again.

I do still have my car, and still plan to keep it until it rusts apart.

I realize all my web resources are gone. I'm going to see what I can do about finding my backups and posting it up again somewhere.

Everybody good?

Dude!!!

I've tried to reach you through Facebook a few times. I'd love to meet up some time and check out the car. I've never met you in person but you've helped me second hand a lot!

Welcome back again Vikash! Glad to have you back.

This is the former subyluvr2212, just so you know. Had Josh change my username a while back.

Hurray!

You found out about this through osmosis!

You are like the Neo of the BBS, you are connected even when you aren't connected

Yes Vikash we want your archives, but more so we missed your input. *sniff*

We know you're time is taxed, but we'll take what we can get. Or at least I will.

Awesome! Guess I'll take this opportunity to come back, as well.

Just in time, too. I think I might need that PCV diagram and junk as I'm restoring Duchess. And I mean restoring as it turns out to have less rust underneath and hidden behind stuff than the Mazda. Quite amazing, really, though the rear quarters are rusted, of course. I'm buying metal working tools to fix that. I need to get this car on the road so I can dump the Mazda and start my Miata extreme aero-project, though Duchess is going to sport some efficient aero mods as well. First it needs to run so I can start the tuft testing.

It will be the first fwd turbo I've heard of. Kind of like what Subaru originally catalogued, but never built. I'm getting a spare transmission just in case.

Thanks, everybody! What a welcome!

n2x4 - Sorry, I'm terrible at Facebook communications. Just ask Doug. I pretty much just use it to see pictures people have posted up. But, yeah, let's meet up. My car's on jackstands right now but you're welcome to come visit. :) I'll PM you my contact info.

Dave - Thanks! I'll definitely take you up on that.

Steve - That sounds way awesome. I'm sure I can dig up those diagrams.

Vikash - The Juicebox scan tool you made has been a great help in reviving my car. It has saved me a ton of troubleshooting time and the gauges are always useful. Welcome back!

Hey, I'm glad you are back. You really helped me with the ej22t swap--that self shut-off diode trick--dang.

I just came back recently as well. Will be megasquirting that same engine.

What have you been up to?
