USA assembled RHD/Postal wagon?

Post by PhyrraM »

I was always under the impression that the RHD postal wagons came from Japan. Check the vin. It says MPV and the car has neither an airbag NOR auto seatbelts.

Something else is up with that car too. It's a post-facelift car ('94) but has a pre-facelift cluster. True milage?

Something indeed doesn't add up, as I show it being originally sold in New Hampshire.

I'd normally doubt that the cluster was changed, as it is an RHD cluster, which would be hard to come by.

Subaru does throw some wildcards in every once in a while.

Nonetheless, anything's possible. They could have bought a brand-new RHD cluster and wound in the correct mileage.

I think I'd still buy it though for a swap, simply because it's a rust-free postal wagon. Those are the rarest 1st-gen Legacies I know of

Not for that price though.
