Why did you buy?

I live in the Cascades in Washington state. we have anywhere from 3' to 10' of snow on the ground at any given time during the winter. In my humble opinion, Subaru is the only car to own if you face serious winter driving conditions. Currently I'm on my fourth Subaru (87 gl Wagon,94 Loyale,98 Outback, and my baby 2007 Outback). My youngest son is driving the 87 (478,000 mi) and loves the low range option (hint hint Subaru), oldest boy is driving the 98 (200,000 + mi.). Sadly the 94 had a run in with a tree while rallying on mountain roads (boys will be boys)....totaled the car, both sons unhurt but scared s#*tless to tell dad about his car. So if you want a good handling, economical, tough, and stylish car....BUY A SUBARU.

kinda cool, especially that they come out and say "boys will be boys" and shrug it off.

love it.
