Anyone running 245/40ZR-17s?

Post by WagonMafia »

Anyone running 245/70ZR-17s in the rear of their 92-94? I got a pair of them from a coworker off his benz (Michelin Pilot Sports with 1,500 miles on them) and wanted to know if it were possible to put on my 7" wide 17s. Ive rolled the lips in the rear flat inside, and the 215s arent even close... let me know if its been done!

225 wide is generally the maximum reccommended tire width for a 7" wheel. Not all 225's are created equal though.

With serious fender rolling, a set of coilovers, and the perfect wheel offset, you could possibly do it. Possibly...
