HappyFrogs 92 Turbo

Post by HappyFrog »

Hello

I'm new to this forum and thought I'd say hello with a pic or two of my "new" subbie.

I'm a danish dude, 31 years of age and someone named me Johnny ages ago. I had a classic Impreza until recently but sold it since I only used it for trackdays and decided to try on a Legacy instead.
So I found this old bugger in Sweden, it's a 92 Legacy Turbo, the engine was completely rebuild last year with forged pistons/rods, 06 STI 6 speed gearbox and TD05-16G BIG turbo.

The engine runs really smooth, but the builder must've been drunk when he tuned it, because it only builds pressure from 3500 revs till it fuelcuts around 5000, so the engine needs some attention. The wheel arches are begging for some new metal as well and the paint is peeling of, so it's going to be a long long winter in my brothers workshop.

Enough said, here it is.

Looks good to me! I love the front bumper with the headlight washers. Nice steering wheel. Welcome to the board!

Welcome to the forum. It's the place to be.

I like the subtle side skirts your car has and I also like the fact it doesn't have the sunroof, or at least in the picture it doesn't look like it has one. I didn't think the cars came without the sunroof.

I also love the offset clutch master cyl. reservoir. Can you get those and ship them to guys here in the states?

It doesn't have a sunroof, I think it's a bit silly offering both sunroof and A/C (though my impreza had both) :D

I'm not sure what the clutch reservoir came off, perhaps the same car as the gearbox. I'm sure it's off a subaru though, so I'll see if I can find a p/n on it.
