Do you know that feeling when you see a project car and its hard to walk away from it..? I stumbled across this damaged 2005 Wagon with only 30,000 miles on the clock. I intend to look at this car next week as the money seems to be right circa $4300
I will need to be factoring in the costs on all repairs and of course I am not sure if there is any structural chassis damage, I am told its light damage and that the air-bags are still intact. Any opinions on what I need to look for apart from chassis damage.?

Probably rear ended a car and pushed it forward. Airbags deploy only after a certain decelerating force criteria is met (>7g, I think, but I could be remembering that wrong). ECE is (probably) a little different, but US regulations require them to deploy when striking a solid object across the full width of the nose at 14 mph or above. In real life, a real second car will absorb impact and probably be moved by the striking car and that most frontal impacts are offset, both of which can make the airbag trigger at higher speeds than the specification.
