In usdm heads tho, not jdm.

What usdm DOHC has the "4cam 16 valve" imprinted on it?

1996 EJ2D with HLA's under buckets. Good heads for a turbo build.

The '96 heads look a little different than the JDM EJ20G, the dont have the ribbing on the bottom.

The heads in the first pictures are the ej20g Legacy/Liberty RS Heads... not the ej25d heads that Matt was talking about.

Are you sure? That was my thought as well, but the OP specifically said they were USDM... twice, even.

lol... wow... thread misread...

There is no direct USDM equivalent to the Legacy/Liberty RS heads... However, as Matt and Gary both pointed out, the 96-97 USDM ej25d HLA Heads did have 4 cam 16 valve... but if your getting ej25d heads... just get the 98MY ones... they dont have HLAs but rather Mechanical lifters... like my car
