Smoothie rims and moon caps

Post by turbodrabbit' »

So heres the deal, I am thinking retro rod. I want to do something different with my '94 TW.

I want red smoothie rims with moon caps and white walls. The 5 on 100mm smoothie rims are available due to the popularity of the PT cruiser. What I am worried about is the backspacing and the hub centric issue. According to the websites, the wheels are:

Backspacing (in) 4.500 in.
Offset (mm) +25.00mm

Has anyone done this before?

Be interesting to see a pic on car. But not much air to cool the brakes and hub.
