WTB: 1992 Legacy SS 4EAT Front Diff.

Post by subydaddy »

Hey guys,
Well, I'm in the middle of swaping transmissions out of my Legacy and wouldn't you know it, I got the front diff opened up and I'm missing a couple of teeth.... on the diff side, not the transmission side. I've tried to upload some pictures of it but I'm not having any luck.

It's got the number 32 on it.

If anyone has one let me know. I'll check locally too but doubt I'll have any luck.

Thanks,
Josh

shouldnt the front diff be the same as any other 4eat? ask around at local subaru shops maybe they have a junk 4eat you could pull the front diff off since those diffs never really go bad all that often on a regular old NA car.
or since you are swapping transmissions open up your old one?

Hey guys thanks for the replies,
Mikey I'll get you pm'd later today after I make some more phone calls and hopefully get a hold of the people I left messages with yesterday.

And 206er you're exactly right, it should be an easy part to track down. As far as my other diff, it has different gearing so I was needing to reuse a few parts from the blown transmission. I even opened up the newer transmission to double check but sure enough, it's marked 37, I need 32.

Thanks again guys, hopefully today is more successful, however with Forza 3 coming out today, I dunno.....
