So while on leave from Iraq i went and had the Lego detailed and windows tinted. I then went for a trip to the tail of the dragon (rt. 129). Here are some pics.

I should finally be getting home after 11 months in about a week. Than the fun begins. I am going to try and source a 5 spd conversion because 3rd is slipping. Plus I am tired of the auto.

In addition I am looking to get some headers and a new 2.5" catless exhaust, a pp6, delta cams, and a few other goodies.

That is a clean wagon! As much as I love my first gen legacy, I think the second gens are pretty damn good looking. Ever though of doing a WRX swap when you throw the 5 speed in there?

I have thought about it, but the 25D is running so well I may wait. It has almost 200K on it with a top end rebuild about 60K ago.

I might be getting another 25D soon that I might use to make a STi hybrid (Crank, rods, pistons). It is funny you ask. I have a complete turbo set up for it, I have just never installed it. I like the linear power it is making now. Dyno was 120/119tq through the 4eat. It feels much quicker though and real good on the track (auto-x).

If I see a good deal I may jump on it.

Nice. I'm looking at getting a white 2.2 near me and dumping my Mazda 3. I like the black roof and wheels.

i also like the front lip. and the black roof. but those wheels are begging to be painted.

Normally I don't care for cars with different colored roofs, but that looks good with the tint.

Thanks for all of the compliments. I have a lot of work in this. Everything to include body work was done by hand by me in the garage. I have a lot more to do in the form of swaps and such.

I dont think cars are ever done.

What color do you think they should be painted? I would like to do something else to bring out some color, but not sure what.

gunmetal or dark bronze? definitely something a little darker would set it off.

It used to have bronze. I am still not sure if I liked it.

I will try and get a photochop done soon.

asc_up I also like the idea of the silver BBS wheels. Mabe I'll get those.
