Power Steering pump compatibility

I am trying to replace my father in-laws power steering pump on his 96 Legacy and I have a good condition pump from a 91. Will this work?

The fittings are the same style.

Yeah, I don't see any reason it wouldn't. You may just want to swap over the resevoir if it's different.

Swapped the 91 PS pump over to the 96....works great, but I had to swap over the whole bracket since the pumps were a little different shape.
