Trick to removing shift linkage?

Post by vica153 »

I got the 2 roll pins out, but the linkage wont come off the shaft. Its been drenched in PB and I bashed on it last night and today and it has not even budged at all.

I'm about to break out the torch, but I figured I check if anyone has any tips/tricks to getting this thing off the car.

Trans still on the car. 45F outside, cold cement.

lol Yup I knew it would go if you hit it hard enough. Sucks that it's still in the car. I thought you said you had the tranny out?
